KANSAI’S UNIQUE GLOW

Back from a fabulous week in the wonderful Kansai region, having visited Kyoto, Uji, Nara, Osaka, Himeji and Kobe. Stinking hot ā€˜n’ sweaty, of course, but nonetheless great to get away from the ā€˜Shima and the mindless routine of work. Sometimes just to be walking along unfamiliar streets, taking cans of Pocari Sweat from unfamiliar vending machines and buying cheap T-shirts in unfamiliar branches of UNIQLO is enough to recharge the batteries. Full set of 70 photos appearing on the website any moment, not to mention a serialized travel diary on the Podcast, but in the meantime how aboot this?
